Hayden's 1st taste of bananas

Hayden had his first taste of bananas this morning. He wasn't too sure about them. He sure enjoyed feeling them with his fingers and sliming them all over the tray. After he got them all over he would suck the banana off of his fingers. Mmmm yum!

Hayden's Smile

Hayden was having a good time smiling and laughing at his big brother Jacob.

Kyle's awkward moments

Here are a couple of funny pictures of Kyle. The one in the high chair was taken the night of my pampered chef party. There were no seats left to sit in so he had a seat in Hayden's high chair....the only seat available. Too funny! The one in the sleeping bag was supposed to be an open mouth sleeping one but he shut it before I got the camera ready.

The world is our school

Here is our little bunny friend that has taken up residence under the kids' playhouse. We have all sorts of wildlife around where we live. There are deer, rabbits, racoons, bald eagles and all sorts of other kinds of birds. We have a front row view right in our own backyard. We enjoy watching our little bunny friend come out and eat the grass in the yard. We also have a family of killdeer birds. They have four babies that are just so tiny. They spend alot of time in our yard and we spend alot of time watching them. We enjoy watching the babies.

Tree climbers

I looked out my window to see Bailey and Jacob climbing the tree in our front yard. They used to climb the tree in our yard in Lemoore,CA all the time. I had to grab my camera and capture the moment. I love seeing my children outside playing and discovering new things in God's world.

Growing like a weed

Here's my little man! Lately he's been rolling and rolling and rolling! He's working on growing some more hair. He's turning blond like his brother Jacob. He's a sweet baby and growing up too fast!

Cassidy turns 11

On May 14th we celebrated Cassidy's 11th birthday. Her gift from me was to go to the salon. She got her 1st manicure and pedicure, and a haircut. We had cake and ice cream when we got home. Here she is posing with her new hair-do! Happy Birthday Cassidy!

What we do for entertainment in WA!

On May 9th the kids found a new way to entertain themselves. They called me to come outside and watch and this is what they showed me. I call it kid bowling. If you knock out all three recycling bins you win! Too funny! Navy housing doesn't allow trampolines so this is the alternative for entertainment. Haha!

I missed my Daddy!

After being up for over 30 hours Bob was exhausted! We were reading the scriptures as a family. When when all was said and done we looked over and there they were snoozing! I was thinking to myself...Wow! Jacob is doing a great job sitting still and listening. No wonder!! He was asleep! Too funny!

He's home!

Tuesday night after we got home from activities at the church we got a phone call from Bob. He had been flying home from Turkey and called to check in with us. He was scheduled to land in whidbey at noon on wednesday. He said he was really tired from being up for so many hours and that he'd see us the next day. I let him know we were excited and were really looking forward to him coming home. We then ended our conversation so he could get some sleep. Well........
Mr. Sneaky fooled me big time! An hour later he was at the front door!!!! Talk about a suprise! He got home early and we were so happy to see him! It's so good to have him home with us again. We've missed him so much. It feels good to be a complete family again.
