Bounce house

When we lived in California we had our own house so having a trampoline was not a big deal. The kids could go get their energy out whenever they walked out the back door. Well, now that we live in housing we're not "allowed" to have trampolines. (Lame!) Our kids no longer have an outlet. We decided to buy a bounce house to keep me from losing my mind and to also prevent the kids from slipping into comas. The great thing about it is that it inflates in 2 minutes and can be stored in the garage when we're not using it. It rolls up in a bag the size of a large sleeping bag. Now that is cool! All we need now is more balls for the ball pit. Let the fun begin!!

Hammock

Last summer we made our own hammocks and had a lot of fun with them. We decided to make a new one this year. All you need is a flat sheet, braided nylon rope and a couple of goofy kids to try it out. Fun, fun, fun!!

Yesterday I had a 3D/4D ultrasound. The baby would rather have slept than be messed with. He had his arm up the entire time. You can see it in both pictures. In the top picture you can see his elbow blocking his mouth. The bottom picture is a side view of his face. You can still see that arm in the way along with his other hand and fingers on the side of his face. He was scrunched up against my uterus and the placenta. He may come out a snuggler. Good thing since he'll be living in the moby wrap.
We got a ton of pictures, a CD with all the pictures on it and a DVD of the entire ultrasound. On the DVD he even opened his eyes for a moment. It was pretty cool! The entire family was allowed to come in the room and watch. The kids had never seen an ultrasound because it's not allowed in the hospital.
It was a fun experience for us. I would suggest to anyone thinking about getting one done to do it earlier. I did mine at 37 weeks and they're just so scrunched up in there by then. Either way...it was a nice bonding experience with the baby. I can't wait to meet him on the outside.

Cousins

Hayden loved snuggling with his cousins, Sierra and Taya.

Hayden's ride

We went to my sister Kay's house this weekend. The kids went swimming and then took turns riding on the quad. Of course, I didn't get pictures of everyone swimming and having fun. I got this video done not long before we loaded up to go home. Thanks Kay for all the fun and thanks to Sierra for sharing her quad with us. It was a lot of fun!!
