I think it would be safe to say that I'm about to lose my mind. First Jacob came down with a case of shingles. After spending three hours at the base hospital waiting for them to tell me what I already knew (So much for him being contagious!) we were finally able to leave to get his meds at the pharmacy. Of course they don't have the main medication he needs there so we had to run over to walmart to get it there. After waiting there we found out they didn't have the prescription filled yet so I would have to come back. I ran through the drive thru at burger king for lunch. I dropped lunch off at home and since I had no time to call for a baby sitter I traded Jacob for Bailey and took off for my hair appointment. Kyle watched the kids still at home and Bailey came with me to keep an eye on Hayden for me while I got my hair done. Hayden was into everything!! He was knocking the shampoos off the shelf and tearing apart magazines. My person favorite was when he chewed up his animal crackers and then spit them out all over the floor, multiple times. Good times, huh? I was so tired that I didn't even bother to get my hair cut. I had it blow dried and then got the heck out of there. I then had to go back to pick up Jacob's prescription at walmart, which they only gave me half. I would have to come back tomorrow for the rest of it. I was not too thrilled about going to walmart three times for one prescription. I had been gone all day! I got home after 5pm! Terrible day!!!!
Jacob had to take his meds 4 times a day for 5 days. He started healing up fast. He's all better now and it's all clearned up, thank goodness! A person with shingles can not pass shingles to anyone else but they can pass on chicken pox. So Jacob has given Hayden a case of the chicken pox. Just when I thought things were calming down around here. Hayden started pocking out last night. When he woke up this morning he had more pocks all over his body. He had a fever of 102.8 but we knock that down with some tylenol. Poor baby is miserable!
So you can see that life in the Kendall house has not been fun lately. We've had other calamaties occur while dealing with all of this. When it rains it pours! Now that you've read this I'm sure you're probably thinking your life really isn't that bad at all. Am I right??
