It's been awhile since I've done anything on my blog. Bob was gone again on another debt for the Navy. So I haven't had a whole lot of time to myself. He went to Maryland this time. He'd only been home a week from his debt to Texas when he had to go out again. He's home now and we're all hoping he gets to stick around for awhile.
The kids are doing great with school. The Maeser Academy is working out great for our family. We are really enjoying the curriculum and learning about the Old testament.
Kyle has been keeping busy with home teaching, scouts (almost 1st class) and his Duty to God requirements. You can always find him at all the service projects! We are proud of his willingness to serve.
Cassidy enjoys going to achievement days at church on tuesday nights. She loves listening to music and singing. Her new found joy is putting on plays for her family. I have to admit they've been pretty comical and very entertaining. She gets the younger kids to participate, of course.
Bailey is always reading! She just recently got a bag full of books from her Aunt Kay to read. She's been reading nonstop. She's happy girl with a loving heart. She's a little mommy to Hayden. He adores her and so do we.
Jacob is five. Need I say more? I don't know what it is about my kids but when they turn five but whoa! Look out! My kids don't get the terrible twos...they get the funky fives! Jacob is in his challenging stage of life right now. Testing everything is his game and he's great at it. We love him anyway no matter how challenging he gets. His favorite thing to do now is write out his letters and write his name. He loves school!
Hayden is growing up too fast. He changes every day it seems. He's always on the go and getting into everything! He's very busy! He has a ton of hair on his head...curly! He's got three teeth, two on top and one on the bottom. He's taken his first few steps at walking. His prefered way of travel is crawling, because it's faster. He'll be a year old on the 27th of this month.
We finally got the girls' room painted. It looks good! I'll post pictures as soon as I can. Now we can move on to the next project. Of course, we'll take forever to get the next one done too. That's life at the Kendall house!
